Aims and Objectives
The journal aims to:
Promote cutting-edge, interdisciplinary scholarship that examines the multifaceted interactions between people, political structures, and historical processes at global and regional levels.
Provide an authoritative and inclusive venue for original research that enhances conceptual, theoretical, and empirical contributions across the social sciences.
Uphold rigorous academic standards through a transparent and robust double-blind peer-review system that ensures fairness, integrity, and scholarly excellence.
The journal seeks to achieve its aims by:
Publishing biannual, peer-reviewed research that explores governance, political economy, historical narratives, social hierarchies, security dynamics, and global–local interconnections.
Encouraging diverse scholarly engagement by welcoming interdisciplinary work on colonial and postcolonial legacies, nationalism, identity politics, diplomacy, transnational movements, and regional affairs with relevance to Pakistan and comparative global contexts.
Maintaining ethical and professional editorial practices through thorough preliminary screening procedures such as plagiarism checks, scope assessment, linguistic clarity review, and strict adherence to formatting guidelines prior to the peer-review stage.
