Global Perspectives on People, Power, and History (GPPPH), the official journal of the Virtual University of Pakistan, is peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to exploring the intricate relationships among societies, authority structures, and historical developments across global contexts. It promotes high-quality, interdisciplinary research that deepens understanding of how human experiences and power dynamics evolve over time and shape contemporary social and political realities. By encouraging innovative thinking and methodologically diverse approaches, the journal seeks to push disciplinary boundaries, introduce fresh analytical perspectives, and stimulate critical debates within and across the social sciences and humanities.

GPPPH adheres to a double-blind peer-review process in strict accordance with the ethical standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal welcomes a wide range of scholarly contributionsn including research articles, review articles, and book reviews from a global community of scholars and practitioners. Published biannually in June and December, GPPPH maintains a strong commitment to equitable knowledge dissemination and therefore charges no submission or publication fees to authors.
