Open Access Policy

The Journal of Distance Education and Research (JDER) operate as a fully open-access journal. All content is freely available to users or institutions immediately upon publication, with no embargo period. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, and to use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or authors, provided proper attribution is given.

Creative Commons Licensing

All articles published in JDER are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows users to share (copy and redistribute) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon) the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors, a link to the license is included, and any modifications are clearly indicated. While JDER is fully open access, authors retain copyright of their work with no publication charges or article processing fee (APC). The Journal of Distance Education and Research (JDER) is committed to the long-term digital preservation of all published content to ensure permanent access and availability for future research and scholarly use.
