Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Psychology: Research & Practice strictly adheres to the HEC guidelines and criteria concerning the Turnitin Originality Report and all forms of plagiarism. Every submitted manuscript undergoes plagiarism screening through Turnitin software. Manuscript with a similarity index exceeding 19% is not considered for further processing.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring their work is free from all forms of plagiarism including paraphrasing and self-plagiarism.
  • Submissions must represent entirely original work, with proper acknowledgement and citation of all sources used.
  • The Turnitin Similarity Index must be below 19%
  • Any instance of plagiarism, data fabrication, or image manipulation is strictly prohibited.
  • Reused text from other sources must be enclosed in quotation marks and properly citated.
  • If plagiarism is identified during peer review, the manuscript may be rejected; if discovered after publication, a correction or retraction may be issued.
