About the Journal

Journal of Psychology is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual, open-access multidisciplinary journal, proudly published by the Department of Psychology, Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP). The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and is supported by an editorial board comprising distinguished scholars from diverse countries and areas of psychological expertise. JPRP welcomes submissions from around the world.  

Aims and Scope

The Journal of Psychology serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of well-documented, high-quality research that makes significant empirical and theoretical contributions across all major areas of psychology. These include, but are not limited to, cognitive, social, clinical, health, developmental, educational, personality, neuropsychology, and psychometrics.

The journal’s broad scope embraces diverse topics and methodological approaches, making it a valuable resource for researchers, academicians, and practitioners alike. By highlighting contemporary advances in psychological science, JPRP aims to foster a deeper understanding of human behavior and promote evidence-based practices across psychological disciplines.

Acceptance Criteria

A research paper should demonstrate logical coherence and theoretical rigor in its methodology to achieve publication spot in the Journal of Psychology: Research & Practice. Submitted manuscripts will be evaluated based on their relevance to the subject, ability to engage readers’ interest, sound research design, good writeup, and adherence to ethical standards.

JPRP is published semiannually.
