Financial resources are mainly directed toward editorial oversight, coordination of the peer-review process, digital hosting, archiving, and overall journal administration. JEDI does not receive financial support from commercial publishers, advertisers, or any external organizations that could affect its editorial independence. Authors are required to disclose all funding sources associated with their submitted research—such as grants, institutional backing, or financial sponsorship through a dedicated funding statement in the manuscript. This disclosure promotes transparency and enables readers to evaluate any potential influence of funding on the research process or outcomes. If the research did not receive external financial support, authors must clearly state this in their submission.

Failure to comply with JEDI guidelines may result in desk rejection without external review.
