The Journal of Modern Trends in Mathematical Sciences (JMTMS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. All participants in the publication process — including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher — are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles.

1. Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original, accurately referenced, and free from plagiarism.

  • Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is strictly prohibited.

  • All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research, writing, or interpretation of the study.

  • Any potential conflicts of interest or sources of funding must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.

  • Authors are responsible for promptly notifying the editor if a significant error or inaccuracy is discovered after publication, so that a correction or retraction can be issued.

2. Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Reviewers must conduct their evaluations in an objective, confidential, and timely manner.

  • They should assess manuscripts solely based on scientific quality, without bias or discrimination.

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment.

  • They should not use or share any unpublished material from submitted manuscripts for personal advantage or research purposes.

3. Editors’ Responsibilities

  • Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair, transparent, and unbiased peer-review process.

  • Editorial decisions should be made solely on the basis of academic merit, relevance, and originality.

  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and protect the anonymity of reviewers.

  • They must take appropriate action if ethical concerns or allegations of misconduct arise during the review or after publication.

  • Editors should follow COPE’s Code of Conduct when handling suspected cases of research or publication misconduct.

4. Publisher’s Responsibilities

  • The publisher is committed to supporting the editorial team in upholding ethical standards and addressing cases of misconduct or malpractice.

  • All allegations of research or publication misconduct will be investigated thoroughly and handled in accordance with COPE guidelines.

  • The publisher ensures the permanence and integrity of all published content and facilitates corrections, retractions, or clarifications when necessary.
