Author Guidelines
Authors are advised to carefully read and adhere to the following guidelines before submitting their manuscripts to the Journal of Modern Trends in Mathematical Sciences (JMTMS).
1. Scope of the Journal
JMTMS publishes original research articles in all areas of pure, applied, and computational mathematics. Submitted manuscripts must present novel results, methods, or perspectives that make a significant contribution to the advancement of mathematical sciences.
2. Submission Process
-
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s official online submission system (as indicated on the website).
-
Submissions must be written in English and formatted strictly according to the journal’s LaTeX template.
-
Authors must confirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
-
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission.
3. Manuscript Structure
Each manuscript should include the following components, arranged in the given order:
-
Title — concise, specific, and descriptive.
-
Author(s) and Affiliations — full names, institutional affiliations, and contact details for the corresponding author.
-
Abstract — 150–250 words summarizing the objectives, methods, and key results.
-
Keywords — 4–6 relevant and specific terms.
-
Introduction — context, motivation, and objectives of the study.
-
Preliminaries — essential definitions, notations, or previously known results.
-
Main Results / Methodology — core findings, proofs, or proposed models.
-
Applications — practical or theoretical implications (if applicable).
-
Discussion — interpretation of results and comparison with related work (optional).
-
Conclusion — summary of findings and possible future directions.
-
References — complete and consistently formatted (preferably following AMS style).
All mathematical symbols, theorems, and notations should be clearly defined and typeset using LaTeX.
4. Formatting Guidelines
-
Manuscripts must be prepared using LaTeX.
-
Use standard mathematical notation and ensure all equations, figures, and tables are numbered and properly referenced in the text.
-
Figures must be of high resolution and clearly labeled.
-
References should be formatted uniformly following the AMS referencing style, and should include complete bibliographic information.
5. Ethical Compliance
-
All authors must adhere to the journal’s ethical publishing standards.
-
Plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate submission will lead to immediate rejection or retraction.
-
Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission.
-
Authors are expected to properly acknowledge all funding sources, institutional support, and prior related work.
6. Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers.
-
Reviewers evaluate the originality, quality, clarity, and scientific significance of the work.
-
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript in response to reviewer feedback.
-
Final acceptance is based on the recommendations of the reviewers and the editorial board.
7. Copyright and Licensing
Upon acceptance, authors are required to sign a copyright agreement transferring publication rights to JMTMS.
The journal follows an open-access publishing model, ensuring unrestricted access to all published articles under appropriate licensing terms (e.g., Creative Commons).
There are no article processing charges (APCs); publication in JMTMS is completely free of charge for authors.
Authors retain the right to share and distribute their work for non-commercial purposes, with proper citation of the original publication in JMTMS.
