The Journal of Modern Trends in Mathematical Sciences (JMTMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published annually by the Department of Mathematics, Virtual University of Pakistan. It is dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research contributions across the full spectrum of pure, applied, and computational mathematics.

The journal provides an international platform for mathematicians, scientists, and researchers to share significant theoretical advancements, innovative methodologies, and practical applications in the mathematical sciences. Contributions are invited in all major areas, including but not limited to analysis, algebra, geometry, topology, mathematical modeling, numerical methods, differential equations, general relativity, gravitation, cosmology, fuzzy mathematics, optimization and decision analysis, and data-driven mathematical applications.

JMTMS particularly encourages submissions that present novel perspectives, creative problem-solving approaches, or interdisciplinary relevance. Survey articles may also be considered, primarily by invitation, especially when they offer comprehensive and insightful overviews of emerging or rapidly developing areas of mathematics.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process, typically evaluated by at least two qualified referees. Acceptance decisions are based on the originality, quality, and overall significance of the contribution.
