📢 Announcement: Publication of the First Volume, First Issue of the Journal of Social Practices (JSP)
The Department of Sociology, Virtual University of Pakistan, is proud to announce the publication of the First Volume, First Issue of its newly launched peer-reviewed academic journal, the Journal of Social Practices (JSP).
The Journal of Social Practices (JSP) is dedicated to advancing scholarly research on social practices within indigenous, national, and global contexts. This inaugural issue reflects our commitment to promoting critical understanding of cultural, social, and institutional practices that influence human behavior and societal development.
Our mission is to foster awareness of both positive and negative social practices, encourage balanced and inclusive societies, and contribute meaningful insights to academic and policy discussions. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary scholarship that bridges theory, empirical inquiry, and applied research—particularly work focused on indigenous knowledge, local traditions, and evolving global perspectives.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the authors, reviewers, and editorial team for their valuable contributions to this landmark issue. We look forward to continued academic engagement and invite researchers, practitioners, and scholars to submit their work for future issues.
The inaugural issue is now available for readers, scholars, and contributors.
