The Connection between Public Speaking Skills and the Effectiveness of Preaching

Abstract:
Public speaking, whether as a sermon speech lesson or whatever name you give it, is one of the most effective tools for calling people to Almighty Allah. The first and basic instrument that was given to the Messengers (peace and blessings be upon them) was the communication of the spoken word. They loudly among themselves, among their people announced with the clearest voice. The reason is that in Islamic knowledge and culture words are of the highest esteem thus our Prophet PBUH exercised this form his first days in the mission and the call to Islam. He preached with it, debated with it, discussed many matters with it and continued doing so until the last days of his life when in the farewell sermon he condensed what was the fundamental teachings and pillars of Islam.
